INTRO

Elias Messinas is an expert in sustainable design and green buildings, in urban planning and public participation management, and a social entrepreneur with proven skills and results.
ECOAMA offers architectural design and consulting services to private and public clients with attention to the clients' needs and sustainable solutions in high quality services.

Buildings are fairly complicated organisms. This is why we put attention from the functional planning of the actual NEEDS of the client, to the QUALITY of the space, the balance between elements, spaces or colors, and the spirit it creates for people's well-being. Architecture is about funtionality, budget, and addressing successfully constraints and limitations. Yet, its essence lies in the quality of living - whether a private apartment, a house or a public building, and the well-being of the users..

We work closely with our clients in a process of COOPERATION and involvement, in order to best understand needs and desires and to address them through design. Our work process is interactive and participatory and we invite the client to be involved at all stages, and be an active partner in decision making.

We respond to the historic and cultural context of the site and we learn from the genius loci of the place. So that the project is relevant and in dialogue with the place and community. We care for the ENVIRONMENT and we integrate this care into our practice, both in our designs and in the advise we offer to our clients.

We invest time and energy in our COMMUNITY. We engage the community in public participation and dialogue and we aim to raise environmental awareness. We teach, train, and guide young professionals and students, to become environmentally and socially conscious in their design and practice.
